What to do with one month off

Hello all, long time no post. I am really still alive, though on occasion I think that may be arguable.

So, the latest news.... Second semester is very frightening, but I'm passing neurology, so I can't complain. Just wait until they unleash us on the public clinic next term.... heh heh heh

I have a kitten. His name is Odin. He's the cutest little kitten in the whoooooole world. I may be biased.

And, after third term I get the entire month of August off before I go back in September. I've finally decided what to do with that month too...

I'm going to Peru.

Iquitos and the jungle mostly, but I'll see Machu Pichu and all that too. I'll be going with two classmates, Shari, who lived there for 2 years, and Brandy who's a newbie like me. We're going to teach English and do some work with medical outreach teams in the city and surrounding jungle towns. I got my ticket yesterday and I am giddy like a school girl. Wait, I am a school girl...
